  • Life of Holiness: St. Louis de Montfort was known for his radical poverty, intense prayer life, Marian devotion, and missionary zeal in 17th–18th century France.

  • Preacher and Founder: He tirelessly evangelized rural France, facing opposition and suffering throughout his life.

  • He was canonized by Pope Pius XII in 1947.
